help - no sound on linux mint debian edition (LMDE) 4 hi. i have recently installed LMDE 32 bit on an old laptop which had xp and speakers were working fine. now with LMDE i cannot get any sounds. i could not find any physical buttons or whatsoever that might override speakers, and speakers seem to be working fine except there is no sound.
